IPPUDO EAST VILLAGE
Ippudo East Village is the first international Ippudo to introduce the World to authentic Hakata tonkotsu pork soup. From its modest origins on the Japanese Island of Kyushu to the non-stop buzz of our American flagship eatery in the East Village, our ramen is adored and beloved by New Yorkers, Japanese and hungry travelers the world-over. While Ippudo East Village adheres strongly to its roots, embracing traditional Japanese ramen culture as its essential foundation, we aim to offer a modern and truly unique interpretation that is at the same time both an inspiration from Japan and influence of New York. Since its opening in 2008 and all the following years of taking the ramen scene by storm, Ippudo East Village has stayed true to its primary focus of spreading happiness, smiles and thanks to each customer through one piping hot bowl at a time.
IPPUDO WESTSIDE (Midtown)
Embodying the original philosophy of the Ramen King and Ippudo founder Shigemi Kawahara, our second NYC based shop opened in Hell’s Kitchen in 2013 to “keep changing to remain unchanged.” Dishing-up the same signature Tonkotsu pork broth and premium house-made thin noodles that catapulted our East Village location into wide acclaim, Ippudo Westside brings another level of subtlety, refinement and depth to the flavor palette of our ramen and tapas-style dishes. Introducing our Buddhist-inspired Shojin - Ippudo’s first vegan and gluten-free ramen - monthly seasonal toppings and specialties as well as an extensive offering of unique and exciting sake, shochu and japanese liquor, Ippudo Westside aims to bring together the highest quality ramen, service, and libations. Stay tuned for our special events and tastings on our 2nd floor!

The renowned ramen experts of Ippudo New York started their next ramen concept. Kuro-Obi promises to elevate the precise craft of true Japanese ramen making into a take-away format. Ippudo's Ramen Master has created a new "take-away" ramen recipe for Kuro-Obi, which will focus exclusively on "tori paitan", a delicately silky chicken base. For anyone who doesn't have the time to enjoy the full Ippudo New York dining experience, Kuro-Obi is the answer - offering the style and exceptional quality without the infamous wait, and allowing even more visitors and New Yorkers to experience and savor Ippudo New York's wildly popular ramen. Come try one for yourself, we'll have a hot bowl waiting for you!
